My charger stops charging my laptop completly when im playing games on it?

Ok this is really strange, i have the hp pavilion zd7000. when ever I play this game called dota it just suddenly stops charging.And if I turn off the game it starts to charge again.. Do any of you guys have any ideas how to fix this?

It's because the game is working your computer pretty hard (full CPU and GPU utilisation as well as running the optical drive) and so there isn't enough power left over to go to charging the battery (maybe a little bit).

The only way to fix it is not to play the game if you need the battery to be charging (and it'll probably charge faster if you have the computer off).

maybe the game sucks up all the electricity to run everything and there isn't enough left over to charge it

another person posted a with the same game. laptops are a computer with limited heat disapation. use a tower for games. laptop for portability.
