Question:

My child's Leapster won't operate without a cartridge.?

We bought a leapster at a yard sale today. It was a deal, as the leapster and charging unit was only $10. However, when we turned it on, it appears to have no built in games.

Fortunately, we have other leapsters for our other kids, so we took one of those game cartridges and now this yard sale one works fine. It just appears to have no built in games.

I know this can't be so (right)? Does anyone out there have any codes or manual that can tell me how to reset this? I see no reset buttons on this machine.

Thx.

  1. I'm pretty sure in order to work it needs to have a cartridge.
