Don't let it get you down if you don't see your child in these scenarios... you never know!   Besides the therapist that worked with this boy is brilliant and still 'around'. She seems to have plenty of brilliance. I think her name is Virginia M Axell

You public school system should have a speech therapist.  It is free and they usually have a good therapist.  My son is 6 and has been in speech therapy for 2 years through our public school systems. (2 different counties)  Even though he wasn't in school he was still able to see the therapist.  Good luck.  I know how you feel, "they" think my son could possibly have a form of autism.  They don't know.  If you would like to contact me my email is [e-mail]

My grandson is also autistic. His parents are also trying to get as much info as possible for him and the school works directly with him to help him improve his social skills and speech.  I will be E-mailing you with some websites and my son's e-mail address.
