  1. sugar might be counter acting the sugar in his body.  I don't know

  2. it's a myth that sugar causes kids to be hyper.

  3. A mixture of prayer and Ritalin should do the trick.

just kidding: Maybe they throw a fit so that you'll give them sugar.

  4. The sugar thing is just energy, he may be hyperactive, give him caffine and if he calms down, the doctor has medicine for him. Basically doses of caffine in pill, or liquid form.

  5. dont know but give her alot of sugar it might be good 4 him.

  6. have her checked for diabetes, although adhd does do this to some.

  7. Taking her to a Pediatrician is probably the best thing to do!

  8. maybe she has adhd.

  9. Sounds like ADHD to me.  Does your child have difficulty concentrating/doing on task at a time.  Can they follow directions easy?  If not a trip to the doctor may be needed

  10. I'm guessing she probably thinks that this will make you give her sugar.

So prove to her that her plan is not working. Give her sugar on occasion, and when she gets hyper, set limits. Tell her that if she goes too crazy, she will (depending on how old she is) have a punishment. (Timeout if younger, a limit on candy, etc.) Don't send her to her room, because, let's just face it, a child's room is a paradise with toys, books and such-not a jail cell.

Hope she can control her "hyper-ness",

    Claire ;)

  11. maybe your child has alot of energy ???

  12. I'm guessing it's either just a "phase" or she's just acting like a kid her age and you're just overeacting. There's only one other possibility and that is that she's in the first stages of ADHD( attention defeciet hyperactive disorder) in which case you should go see a phycologist.

  13. ? I don't know

my little brother is like that

  14. Ask your pediatrician - could mean ADD--- I'm not an advocate of over checking on kids for that, but I did hear that it's a symptom.

  15. sugar stimulates her.

and most children are hyper anyway.
