  1. Not that I am aware of, the nurse needs to stay with the school and the other children but your child is in better hands with the ambulance crew....


  2. no as the custody and care of the child is transferred to the medical attendants. obviously they did or should have called you immediately so you could go to the hospital to meet your child.

    1.  The nurse goes with your child and the well-trained ambulance crew and leaves several hundred other children without her help if needed?

    or

    2.   Your child is in the hands of professional medics who are transporting your child while the nurse is contacting your to meet them?

    School policy is correct!

  5. No. The nurse has to stay at the school as there may be other injuries at the school.

    If the child is young enough to require an adult to accompany him or her, then the most likely staff member would be the principal or assitant principal.
