The 5 year old friend had my son pull his pants down and kissed his p***s. When I walked in i heard the boy say "Okay now pull up your pants" I am very upset.

These are very good boys, this is unlike anything they have ever done. The boys explained that his cousin touched him. His mother is taking care of their problem. But what should we do for my son to insure that he doesnt do this to someone else, now that he has been exposed. OMG they are 5 !! I am sooo upset but I just explained that this was wrong and that I loved them very much and that I wasnt mad just upset that this happened. :((( Please let me know if anyone has experience this... Should I put him in counceling am I overacting... I just dont want this to ruin his innocence.. Help

  1. i am currently dealing with this situation. my 5 year old was abused by an 8 year old. 8 months later an incident occured between him and a classmate at school in the boys bathroom. i am so hurt and the school has pretty much punished my child. they have moved him to another class and now, under no circumstance is he allowed to go to the bathroom with other boys. my son has been in counseling since we found out in september. he goes every single week and we have been working through this and he is learning right from wrong and boundaries. he shouldn't have to worry about all of this at the tender age of 5 and my heart just hurts for him. i wouldn't worry about your child and with all honesty, if you have an reason to be concerned for the other child, contact cps and they will investigate. the mother very well could be covering it up. my son's school was the first to find out that it had happened to my son and cps was called. we were contacted by cps after they had met with my son. the most important thing is to protect the child. i'm fighting with the school to keep things as normal as possible with my child....i believe it may come down to us moving him.
