  1. public school

  2. Public school is the way to go.

  3. different areas offer different school pros and cons---get to know both schools and make your decision based on the schools not yahoo answers

  4. I would sugguest to you to go to the schools you are contemplating and ask to see the curriculum. They should be able to show you, also they may let you sit in on the classes.  That should help you to decide which way to go.  Good Luck!

  5. I would put her in public school, it will give her more of a real-life experience. she will interact with people of other backgrounds. Just make sure that the curriculums of the schools are good. if the private school has a great curriculum and the public school has a bad one, then private school would probably be better

  6. It really depends on what the options are around you.  Some cities have some excellent private preschools that may be worth looking into.  However, it may not be worth it to invest in private school at such an early age with the decent public education system in Canada.  You may want to save for private school in the later years as preparation for university.  If money isn't an issue, I would investigate a number of programs and decide based on the quality of the program alone, rather than on the fact that a school is public or private.  Check out the teachers in action in the classrooms - is the classroom atmosphere warm and welcoming?  Are the children happy?  Also look at the resources and other special programs used - do they focus on literacy?  Art?  Which approach works best for your child?  Be sure to ask about the teacher turn-over rate - private schools often pay less than public schools and have a high turnover as a result.  You can also ask other parents at the school what they think of the program.  Be sure to take your child to see the schools, as well.

    Good luck!

  7. I say public school, they offer more, especially if she has a difficiulty.  Plus save the money for her college tution.

  8. I would suggest public for a numerous of reasons but most important because it will give your child a chance to interact with children from different ethnic backgrounds, different social classes and different areas in general...
