My children and Bloody Mary How do I get it out of their minds?

Pix is teasing Samantha about it (Pix is five Samantha is three) saying it in the miror while Samantha is afraid for him, I tried telling Samantha it was made up, and tried telling Pix that he needs to knock it off, Pix stops but after a few hours makes remarks like "Whoa whats that in the miror"

or "Ahh look Sam." And points behind Samantha.

Oh man, I was deathly afraid of her when I was in third grade and all the kids were doing that.  Good luck, cause I'm 23 and the thought of her still gives me the wiggins.

Tell them Bloody Mary is fake, and play it with them to prove it.

I'm 13 and that still freaks me out. I was over my friends house while I was 8 or so and her brother made us do that. Obviously nothing came out, but it made scared of mirrors for years. Just tell Pix that is is all made up.

I'm a little confused. Are they scared or just annoying?? If they are scared explain to them that its all made up. If they just won't leave it alone, just tell them to quit. Tell them you don't like it and they should quit. Good luck!

Wow that is really young for bloody mary. If Pix is old enough to play he is old enough to stop. Give him a warning and if that doesn't work just be strict with him. if he quits your daughter will soon forget about it as long as he does not bring it up.

only way you can take her and do it with her and show her that bloody mary does not come out of the mirror and tell her that pix is a joke and is not telling the truth about it

Easy, the next time Pix does this after you have told him (how many times?) to stop, spank Pix's butt reall good THAT will get his mind of bloody mary and onto his aching behind.

Well, you can tell Pix if he scares his sister again he will get a time out!!  OR... if you want to be creative, tell Samantha if she stands in front of the mirror and says a magic word, bloody mary will never visit!!

Easy Samantha is 3 she will believe anything tha you tell her.

Introduce her to Happy Henry.  He is bigger than Mary.  If you say his name 3 times into the mirroe he will not let Mary bother anyone.

If that does not work try monster spray.

a spray bottle , 1 drop food color, 3-5 drops of your purfume.  spray around the room.  Makes monsters stay away.

Tell them that the game doesn't work, and then tell them the history of Bloody Mary. The link takes you to a similar yahoo!answer question and tells the history of who bloody mary historically was. Everytime he does it, retell them the history. Hopefully once you turn it educational, he'll stop.
