  1. The SSI payments have no impact on the stimulus payments.  If your return qualified for a rebate, you will get at least $300 for you (and your spouse if you filed jointly).   You will also get $300 for each child age 16 or younger.

    If you claimed your 19-year old child, your rebate will not increase and your child will not receive a rebate on his own.


  2. no.  too old, if the child doesn't qualify for the child tax credit, he or she won't qualify for the rebate; i.e., 17.

  3. No, for at least two reasons.  SSI isn't qualifying income, and dependents aren't eligible.
