My childs dad died, if im working do benefits help instead?

my childs dad died a year ago and i just want to know that if i get a job do i get any help from the goverment towards her instead of child maintinence from him or am i by myself?

My kids father passed last may,  I have 3,  each of them get survivors benefits, medical card, and  fd stamps. just cause ur working does not mean ur kids are not entitled to goverment help.   it depends on what state ur from.

In most cases the child should get the parent who dieds SS benfits.

you get ssi just like if he was alive and you divorced him he has to pay child support no matter what
