I'm in eighth grade but pretty short for my age. I am going to become a Fairy [act 2 scene 2] the one that talks with Robin Goodfellow. I don't know what kind of dress/skirt/top i should wear. I'm not going to buy anything too expensive because this is the only time im going need this costume. thanks for all your ideas :]

  1. something in a pastel colour, flowers would work but very plain is ideal. get something floaty and short.

  2. Something pastel, a little bit dressy, and maybe sew some flowers onto it.

Sometimes, i know from experiance, you can find REALLY REALLY nice dresses/skirts at Goodwill or local thrift stores around your area.

Good luck, and congrats on your part! its a really important one!

  3. http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/im...

  4. Ritz dye (forest green) shred some old sheets...wings you may be able to make with wire (like hangers) and some stockings....glue and LOTS of glitter.....How much fun!!!

  5. my sister was a fairy in a midsummers night dream and she had a sort of flowy skirt, bare feet, and some sparkly eye makeup. For her top it was sort of a tank top with a flowy thing the same color has the skirt. Heres some pictures that may help you out.

  6. I'd go with something floaty and a bit hippie~ish in natural colours and natural fabrics. Bare feet. Maybe flowers in your hair?

Break a leg and enjoy! :)

  7. A flowing tunic over tights (and a leotard, if you wish).  You can even just cut a hole in the center of a 7-foot or so piece of cool cloth, pop your head through and tie a piece of rope or ribbon around your waist to belt it off.

Depending on which one you are, you can coordinate the costume and/or make-up colour to it (Mustardseed would be ochre-ish, for example).

And flowers or some other greenery in your hair or wasitband might also be appropriate.
