My clear braces are bright yellow

Question

i brush and mouthwash all the time

i even use whitning mouthwash. but my clear braces are bright yellow and its embarrassing.

is their anything i can gargle? like a certain mouthwash?

Ask the ortho what is safe for them. Most of the time when they are stained you can not make them clear again... DO NOT USE WHITENING MOUTHWASH!!  It will whiten your teeth but not under the brackets so you will have marks from the brackets on your teeth when you get your braces off and they are really hard to get rid of. Most of the time you have to get your teeth professionally bleached to do so.

The white ligature elastics that hold the wire to the bracket stain real easy. Your orthodontists changes these out at every visit. But things like coffee, tea and soft drinks will just stain them up again. Drinking through a straw may help reduce some of the staining. You may want to try getting a different color other than the white ligatures elastics. I know that defeats the whole purpose of getting the clear braces but at least they won't look yellow.
