My close friend's relative committed suicide yesterday.?

and i seriously don't know what to say to her.

any words of encouragement for her?

its better not to say anything

she is very vulnerable now

you just comfort her by saying im really sorry

but nothing else cause she might perceive it in the wrong way

Don't smother her, but there for her if she wants to talk, or even if she doesn't want to talk. Let her cry on your shoulder. Everybody grieves in different ways. Deaths, especially suicides bring pain to everyone. It may take a while for her to go on with life. The healing process can take a lifetime to go through, so just be there for her.

It might help her to say that in the end, no one can change what has happened. Second guessing doesn't really change anything.
