my neighbors have been my closest friends since kindergarten or 1st grade. just today, when i had them over to just talk or mess around, they said that their mom was looking for a new job in georgia. she already has a good job, good pay i mean. i just cant help but get upset since my closest friends are going to leave me. i hope it isnt a joke (they did play a joke on me that got me a while back...they said that they had a PS3 before it came out...they seemed like they really had it), but i dont think its a joke since they were getting upset like i was today. my neighbors mom has already looked for other jobs that pay more in the state, as my friends say, and the only other places for a job are california, florida, or georgia. my neighbors dont seem like they are going to ask their parents or beg their parents to stay since they are kinda strict. WHAT CAN I DO??? THEY ARE MY CLOSEST FRIENDS AND I REALLY DONT WANT THEM TO MOVE!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Sorry you cant really do anything to stop them from moving. But you should spen a lot of time and if you take pictures or even make some films or something like that.

  2. i dont really care about ur friends and that paragraph thing iz 2 long 2 read, but i love yo avatar man

  3. i no how you feel i moved many times!!!! and i still  keep in touch with my friends even though were soo far away from eachother

a real freindship will last forever!!!!

  4. Well find new friends so ur not a loner

  5. ask were they might move and move there. maybe.

  6. Well, in today's world, staying in touch won't be a problem! You have instant messengers, facebook, myspace, cellphones, textmessaging, and normal ol' telephone calls. When you are older and can travel on your own you can go visit and go on vacations to the beach or wherever you want. It'll be ok, just stay in touch!

  7. there is really nothing you can do. my close friends that i have known all my life just moved to NC and i keep in touch with her online and on the phone and im going to visit her a lot. its a tough situation you'll get through it

  8. my best friend moved to the other side of the country earlier this year, it really sucked.  It was extremely hard at first and i still miss her a ton, but shes much happier where she is.  Your friends probably don't want to move either, so try not to make it too hard on them. JUst have fun with them while you can and make sure they know you care about them when they leave.  Also you can have them come visit all the time and vice versa!   Just keep your chin up because there's nothing you can do about it.  And trust me, after time it gets easier.

  9. You can only hope they don't move.

I'm sorry, but it's their choice and it is entirely up to them.

  10. What can your feeble mind do about it??? The end is inevitable and moving from one place to another is too! You cannot escape it, it is something that cannot be avoided...By the way just look for new friends.

  11. I LEFT AUSTRALIA TO LIVE IN THE USA TO BE WITH MY BOYFRIEND AND MY BEST FRIEND CRYED EVERY DAY AND SHE CRYED TO SAY GOOD BYE TO ME AT THE AIRPORT AND IT WAS REALY SAD THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO IN A SITUATION LIKE THAT SHE CRIED EVERY DAY AND USED TO GET MAD THAT I WAS LEAVING I DIDN'T EVEN REALISE HOW UPSET SHE GOT BECAUSE SHE FELT LIKE I WAS LEAVING HER BEHIND...NOW SHES PREGENET AND HAVING A BABY AND ITS BEEN 6MONTHS AND ITS REALY HARD TO EVEN TALK TO HER ANYMORE =[ =[

  12. u can try helpin' her look for more jobs in the state u are. and if they do move, keep in contact a lot. webcam, emails, msn, phone. i had tons of friends move and i only have a few who are so close to me that we've been keepin' contact without seein' each other for more then 7 years. she and i are still besties. good luck dude. *hugz*

  13. Well, how far from Georgia are you? You should talk your friends into talking to their parents about the move. Not BEGGING, just mentioning how the change will effect them. Maybe this will be a good opportunity for you to make other friends, and even if they move Im sure if they have the money to move far away theyll have the money to visit you :)

  14. First of all, talk to them and find out if they are being serious or not.  I have to say it sounds like they're being serious.

Second of all, realize that jobs are very important and are the only reason most people have any kind of livelihood at all.  If they are moving, maybe you can move with them.

If you're not in a position where you can be independent and you have to stay at home and they have to leave, then it's really sad but you won't be able to see them again.  At least you can still keep in touch over the phone, through letters or e-mails, on social networking sites.  Of course that's no substitute for being with them in person, but you will have to meet some new friends.  Maybe the people that move into their house will be really cool neighbors too.

  15. deal with it

    life happens

  16. Unfortunately, you have to cope with it. I mean, sure, go ahead and try to ask // beg them to stay, but if your neighbor's mom get a better job somewhere else, what can you do to stop them?

I know that it's depressing as I had to go through the same situations 2 years ago, although it was me that had to move away and I actually moved to a different country on the opposite side of the world.

The best you can do is stay in touch with them, I mean they'll still be in the same country as you. You guys can visit during breaks and hang out. Things will be a little different, so keep in contact. Write letters, chat online.

You'll make new friends too, so if they do move away, don't get too upset. Life changes, things happen that we don't want to happen, there's nothing we can do about it.

  17. You might just have to accept it... :(

    Dude, that really sucks...I'm sorry
