Question:

My co-worker is getting on my nerves?

My co-worker keeps coming in to volunteer & it's taking away from my hours what should i do? (that should have been the title but yahoo keeps reffering me too and hindering me to the sports section with that title)

He's new & he comes into work early & doesn't take a lunch break at all. Then on top of that he stays later & sometimes gets the bosses aproaval to come in and get ahead of the work he needs to do. Then coincendently my hours become shorter around the same time & others have complained about it to.

I asked if he could stop and told him why but he said "thanks but no thanks" which i thought was rude. I really don't want to confront my boss about it but what should i do? Is this even legal?

  1. your co-worker is willing to do the extra things to get ahead such as be on time, stay late when needed, do extra work when needed, show up early ready to work etcetera........ that gets on your nerves?

what do you mean by volunteers?

    working for no pay?

or volunteering to do the extras and being paid for it?

if you have kids to worry about you may want to try and put forth the same effort and have the same attitude as this co-worker.

sad to say but good employees often make not so good ones feel uncomfortable.
