  1. Sounds like you need to speak with a principal/dean. That doesn't sound right.

The glare from that sun can damage your eyes. If they don't let you wear sunglasses, playing that sport isn't worth the trouble your eyes will be in if this continues!!

  2. Nike MAXSIGHT Sport-Tinted contacts have a tint to them so that when you are outside, there isnt a glare from the sun. I wear them in the summer when i play vb outside because im a lifeguard.

  3. Tell coach you can not see the ball.  Tell her/him that you will be able to see it if you had your glasses on.  Tell your coach their perception sunglasses.  You have to wear them.

  4. does the coach wear sunglasses? if so, then he is a major jack@$$. i say you get the whole team to wear sunglasses and when he tells you to take them off, don't. he has no right to not let you protect your self. thats kinda like not letting you wear underwear. lol.

  5. It might not just be your coach. The division I was in when I was in high school did not allow any glasses but safety glasses and when we played outside we couldn't wear sunglasses. It was a safety issue. If you get hit in the face with a ball (which happens frequently in volleyball) It can do a lot of damage if you have sunglasses on. It may just be something you have to get used to, I did.
