i have heard that you can get a puff of white , when you have a sertain kind of exuast I bought a cobra from a guy , he had removed the catalitic converters . I replaced them with hight flow cats and since then occasionally I will get a puff of white on start it lasts a few second and thats it. ive notice no reduction in coolant since ive owned the thing I do have to replace oil occasionally only because a monkey from wall mart F'd up and messed up my oil pan plug. What do you think?

  1. If it's white smoke you have a little coolant seeping into a cylinder when it is not running. It will get worse as time goes on. You also need to get the drain plug fixed or some day it might fall out.

  2. What does it smell like? It could actually be oil draining past worn valve guides or past worn valve seals. Oil is supposed to blue, but that isn't always true. I would also pull the plug and see if there is any evidence of oil there too. Or, it could be as simple as condensation in the exhaust, but my bet is valves.
