My cockatiel has two black lines on his beak. Is that normal?

My male cockatiel has two black lines on his beak. He has had them for about a month now. Is that normal?

maybe it is just dirt or like a birth mark idk maybe his mom has the strips too.

A lot of cockatiels have two thick darkish streaks, one on either side of the beak, running from the nostrils down to the tip. If your bird is young they may have just developed.

If they look like the bird in this picture: http://www.animalanticsonline.com/items_... then it's perfectly normal and your bird is fine.

Sometimes markings on animals show up out of nowhere like  i dont think it's anything to worry about
