  1. cocktiels are very good companions and are cute llolz

yes im afraid the little ones are clumsy but will improve when they get older

you  could help it buy placeing  blankets covering the food dishes and dont place it  some where high because might fall  dont leave it alone while out of the cage  feed him a good and healthy diet  not just seeds like vegies  bath him evry 2 days with warm water

other him carrotes boiled eggs white part

honey with rich crackers origianal flaver etccc..... with the food

with hygine is important prevention is betta den  cure

    clean cage often

change water evry day leave tap running for 15 seconds b4 putting water to clean it

dont breed until 18 months old or older incase you would like 2

dont let it chew on poisonous objects like candles and plastic bages dont place it on kitchen bench top

dont leave outside with wild birds they could carry diseases

cover cage at night with  something black

    they need 12 hour sleep

buy it toys swings bells  etc.. but no mirrors because they could cause problems like plucking and stress

cocktiels love chewing wood and destroing it  put in wood toys but no eny wood make sure its not poisonous   eg you could use rose plant wood but chop of the thorns thats what i do you can use untreated pine

cocktiels are a joy to own and while you own iit you learn new things evryday about them

    please never negelect your bird

    gooodd luck!

  2. Many baby birds are clumsy :-)  Aren't they adorable?

Until you see your bird is climbing and perching well, keep the perches fairly low in the cage.  You might also want to pad the cage bottom with a folded towel and cover it with a pillowcase so your bird can't chew on the towel fibers.  Keep the toys low just like the perches.  As he gets older your bird will acquire and fine tune his perching and climbing skills but a few falls are inevitable.  Keep things low in the cage until you stop hearing those "oops.....thud" moments that are bound to happen with babies.

While your bird is so young, get him used to being with you and out of his cage.   Also get him used to eating a varied diet of healthy foods.  Among the foods you can feed your bird are:

Greens: Kale, Bok choy, spinach, chard mustard greens radish, carrot tops, beet tops, dandelion greens (make sure they haven't been sprayed or collected near a roadway) and just about any other leafy green veggie.

Veggies: Carrots, peas, zucchini, corn, squash, radishes, bell pepper, broccoli, green beans, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, chili peppers.

Grains: Steamed rice (white, brown, wild) cooked pasta, whole wheat and multi-grain bread, popcorn (no butter), bran muffins, polenta, grits, cous cous, sprouted seeds and grains (quinoa, amaranth, millet, teff, kamut, spelt), oatmeal, all natural cereal.

Proteins: Raw sunflower seed (small amounts), chicken, eggs, fish, small amounts of hard cheese such as Jack and cheddar, tofu, cooked beans (lentil, kidney, black, garbonzo, navy, white).

Fruit: Apples (seeds removed), peaches, bananas, melons, mango, pomegranate, oranges, papaya, strawberries, plums, pears, berries, nectarines, cherries. (Please remove all pits from fruit.)

Please don't feed your bird salty foods, processed sugar, avocado, rhubarb, alcohol, greasy foods, caffeine, tomato leaves & stems, eggplant leaves, dried beans (always cook or fully sprout first), chocolate, apple seeds, fruit pits, tobacco. Feed onions or garlic in very small amounts only.

Congratulations on your baby!  With proper care you should have him with you for many, many happy years.
