My cockatiel poops when i come to see him?

when i go upstairs for awhile or watch tv or something, after i will go to see him and he'll p**p. i didn't teach him that really other than every time he wants to come out i waited till he pooped to avoid getting it all over the floor. but i only did that 5 times now he does it always?

That bird does not p**p just because you go to see him. All birds p**p every 20 minutes weather you are around or not.

I used to do that when my girlfriend came to visit... she got tired of waiting for me to change underwear and dumped me. I was just nervous like your guy there.

well birds do tend to p**p a lot. my parakeets do the same thing, its probably cause they get anxious all of a sudden because you came to play. and the get really excited. don't worry about it.

You probably inadvertently taught him that by waiting for him to p**p before he came out.  He may also just p**p when you come in case you take him out because birds p**p often to avoid becoming to weighed down by their wastes. If he thinks he is going to do something he may want to lighten his load.
