  1. My cockatiels have always sneezed maybe once or twice a day.  They get something in the nostril and that's the best way to get it out.  But, if they're doing it excessively, or have discharge then you really should call your avian vet.  I know it can be expensive to bring 6 birds to the vet all at once, so pick one or two who are doing it the most or the ones who started it and bring them in.  Get the testing done and then you'll know if it's nothing or if you should get them all treatment.

One cockatiel of mine used to sneeze like a person would, make the same sound....but only during allergy season.  No, he didn't have allergies.  But everyone in my household does, and we figured out he was imitating us!  lol.

  2. Hi! Along with possibilities of illness, it also could be from the fine, white dust that cockatiels naturally produce. If your indoor cockatiels do not take daily baths or get misted with water daily, they could be inhaling their own dust, then sneezing to try to get rid of it. Try letting them have frequent baths in a shallow bowl, mist them down with a spray bottle (not formerly used for chemicals--and spray it above them & let it fall like rain), or take them into the shower with you.  See if this helps curtail the sneezing.  Your outdoor birds may not be affected if the breeze is carrying away the dust, and they have access to fresh air.  Of course, if your birds continue to sneeze, by all means get them evaluated by an exotics vet.

  3. I use to raise cocktails...

sneezing is not a good sign.....at all.

Is there any discharge from the Cere (bump" above her beak - and is in essence her nose)

Just because they are eating and drinking does not mean a thing...

(example I had a scarlet macaw that sneezed and he was diagnosed  Pseudomonas . and my bird ate very well.... not saying your birds do.... but this is the way mine started...

Under normal conditions birds do not have allergies I said normal....

just sneezing itself... could be related to many to many different  disease../conditions....

so without an exam it would be hard to say they need a blood test to see if the white and red blood cells are are normal levels...

    hope this helps
