  1. It might just have a habit of barking at random people.

  2. Dogs Have a Sense of Smell That is extremely Good, And Its a Small Pup So its still not fully understanding Properly. So When a Stranger Comes  She feels Unsecure So she barks, Its perfectly normal :D:D

  3. She barks at them because she sees them as a threat to you.

  4. My dog does that, too.  She's a 3 year old mutt who loves absolutely everyone...except for older women for some reason.  Every time we pass one, her hackles go up and she gets all skittish.  No idea why, they must just freak her out.  Also, when my roofer came by to review the job and collect payment, she kept barking at him.  He was admittedly scared of dogs, so maybe it was his vibe?  She loves all my friends, especially the guys, so that was weird of her.  I got her at 4 months, don't think she was abused or mistreated in any way, though you never know.  I think they just have a better judge of character than we do and a better sense.

  5. Have you noticed if the people she barks at are only whites or only blacks, or only (insert a specific race here). I knew a dog in the neighborhood who seriously only barked at black people but she was a black lab so it wasn't racist.

  6. My dog did tat too.

It is depend on who the person, how the person dress and the voice of the person.

You try to ask the particular person that your collie keep barking at calling your collie name, she will stop barking. This work for my pup.

And gender of the person also affect the barking. If the dog owners are ladies, normally your dog will not bark at lady stranger.
