Question:

My comcast on-demand wont work and i dont even get an error code!!!!?

so my cable was set up 15 days ago, after day 2 i called and they said they would send the signal and my on-demand should work shortly. i go to it and it says " push ok to activate service" i do, moments later after the " should be available shortly" message box it goes back to activate service what gives? every few days i call comcast and i get the run around. no clue, anyone have this happen?????

  1. UN plug it for a Little bit & then plug it back in so it could reset it self then give it a try


  2. have you asked for a supervisor?  i can't tell you how many times i've gotten the runaround from the first person i speak with.  in the meantime, you should make sure you are getting credited every day you are not getting the "on demand" service that you're paying for -- that's 15 days of free cable.  maybe that'll get their attention.

  3. Call in and have them check the RATE CODES for vod on each of your boxes. Each box you have *must* have the check mark (authorization) for ondemand otherwise it'll never be allowed on the network.

    You may also want them to check the 'box listing' and make sure your box(es) are even registered on the account. All the authorizations in the world won't help if the box's serial number isn't registered.
