Question:

My comp die. No boot device available?

Hello,

I was wondering if someone can help me. My comp die and when i try to turn it on all I see is this message: " Primary hard disk drive 0 failure. no boot device available. no bootable devices stike f1 to retry boot, f2 to set up utility"

Can my comp survive? How can i fix it.

  1. Sounds as if your HD has taken a c**p.


  2. It sounds like the hard drive died. But there is another possibility. If you computer is set to boot off removeable devices, like usb drives, you could get this error. Make sure there are no flash drives attached, and that the cd or dvd drives are empty. reboot, if you still get this error, its the hard drive.

  3. Check the cable to the hard disk. Is recognised in the BIOS.?
