My comp isn't working up 2 the mark ?

I've got my comp(PC) formatted and not even a week has passed that i;m facing some great problems . whenever i install any application (eg- winamp,acrobat reader,winzip,nokia pc suite,nero,etc) either from the net or from a CD ,and shut down my comp , and the next time when i turn on the machine , these applications just dont open ! Previously , bfore formatting , i never faced such problem . these prog are there on the desktop but still i'm not getting how 2 solve my dilemna .

Dear friend,

The processor of the computer may not be compitable or the ram & the processor may not be in conformity with each other Pl. get it checke on the lines I have suggested you.

are u sure of their compactability with the version of OS u r using .....

gnerally mobile software do not work in vista ....

or format ur whole computer including diffrent drives u have made

hmmmm...............looks LyX OS problem..format all  drive not only C ut all then try....i fit continue mail me.. if
