My comp screen has become blue in colour, what may be wrong?

can see everything in black and white, no colour is distinguishable

  1. Check the s***w of VGA card from monitor to system else change the cable

  2. if it is crt monitor then the tube might has gone wrong can get it repaired. if you have changed the graphic option just restore it it may work. try it

  3. Follow the following steps to find the cause of the problem.

    1. Go to the menu of the monitor and find degausss, once found select it and you would see the whole screen flicker and reset to its default state. If the blue color still lasts then there maybe a considerable problem.

    2. Next unplug the monitor / VGA cable from the CPU. Once unplugged you would see the monitor displaying message that no computer or input is detected. If this display is correct and you don't see a blue thing, then for sure the problem is with the drivers (software).

    But if you still see the blue thing on your monitor, you will have to open your monitor and look for small nobs which control different settings. Then you will have to rotate one of them which takes care of HUE with the help of a screwdriver.

    Oops I forgot, also reset your monitor's setting by going to the menu and selecting restore previous settings.

  4. Thre is trouble in Pic. tube. you have to repair it or replaced it.

  5. its really noting but any of the pin of the computer to screen wire is broken.

  6. If yours is a crt monitor,it might had been exposed to EM waves through mobile or othor sources.

  7. considering that you have a old CRT monitor.

    the VGA cable may be loose. take out the Blue Pin from back of your CPU blow into it and plug it in, and turn the screws in tightly. If this doesn't solve your problem, SPEND SOME BUCKS call a hardware technician

  8. it may be because of virus--go to programme--system tool-system restore and choose earlier date when your sys was working properly and you did not have this problem, if it doesn't work then there is a virus in your sys and you need to format!

  12. wire card is the problem just shake that wire you will get different color changes and stop when it becomes white and black  

  13. Your comp - desktop or notebook? If notebook, flat "loop" can be damage,

  14. 1) Did u place any magnet or any magnetic device like loud speakers near to ur monitor.if there is any pls remove it .

    2)pls check the monitor cable that is connected to VGA

    3)May be ur internal circuit have problem

    Even me faced the same problem.I tried all the efforts I can do...At last I took it to the technician.He found one transistor was damaged.After replacing it my monitor works well.
