I recently re-downloaded the windows xp on my computer but when I restarted it I got a black screen that said windows did not shut down properly and it gave me 5 different options for restart. Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, Safe Mode with Command Prompt, Last Known Good Configuration and Start Windows Normally.

When I try all 3 different safe modes then the screen changes and loads a bunch of codes then the screen stays with the codes on it and doesn't load further.

If I try last good configuration or start windows normally then it goes to the windows xp loading screen with the blue loading bar. But then it never loads, the bar just keeps going a crossed. I left it for 12 hours and it never loaded. I'm not sure what to do, please someone help me.
