My company (agency) giving me £25 accommodation allowance daily. I am working in London but living abroad?

is thic correct? Are they taking this money from government? My friend told me that something is wrong with this amount

What's wrong with it?  It's a little low I would say (but then I think it is tied to your salary and I have no idea what that is).  LOADS of jobs in London offer London weighting to compensate for it being such an expensive place to have to work in.
