My company uses Outlook Web Access?

Does anyone know if my company can track when I have logged onto my Outlook Web Access from home? For example, if I'm at home and I log into Outlook Web Access and if someone needed to know if I had accessed it, could the I.T department find reports on when I logged into and what time of the day it was? We also uses Outlook 2003 with an exchange server for when we are onsite. We use outlook web access for when we're at home. Any thoughts?

  1. Of course they can. They are supplying the interface to your Office Email.

  2. YES.Outlook web Acces  is a webmail service of Microsoft Exchange Server 5.0 and later, originally called Exchange Web Connect. You are not accessing your mailbox on your machine nor on an unknown web server. Most likely you are connecting directly to your company's exchange server. The logs are comprehensive if they enable logging for all of the important stuff. The easiest way to bypass  the office's servers and logs and even their firewall or gateway securiy is to use  a third party mail service. www.mail2web.com is great for this. You are connecting to the server but not compromising your privacy.
