My complexion's a disaster!?

I have my final matric ball approaching(prom) last year of high school. But there's a huge problem.I will be wearing my dream dress which will be revealing my legs,my back,my arms and a little on my abs. This occasion is taking place in two months. My face is light,my legs are light,but my arms,my back and my arms are darker. It's a nightmare looking like one side is beauty and the other,beast. I tried applying bio-Clare but all it did was leave very ugly rushes on me. Please help what lightening complexion cream can help me within a month before my date sees/notices that the hottest chic at school is an ugly duckling. Help me and i will owe you my life! For the record im brown(African) complexion
