My computer,sometimes,starts slowly-what can i do?

At that time i swich-off,restart and press F8 and stick to 'windows start normally' or 'restore to last known configuration'-Am i right? or any other solutions?

perform disk clean up then do a defrag of the harddrive this can boost it also check for programs that have to boot up when windows starts.  some may not be needed to run.

also check for spyware malware.

Reduce the number of programs in startup.

u can see the programs which will start automatically when u start ur system in this way-

open RUN prompt,type MSCONFIG, and on STARTUP tab u can see the programs.

uncheck only those programs which you are aware of.

U can also clean some temporary files from ur system.

Try avoiding saving data in the drive(usually C) which has your OS.
