My computer's power option at the bottom keeps flickering?

Question

It goes to charging to not charging or loosing power. Any idea what it could be. Its a compaq, only 2 years old. I have already tried restarting it and such.

i'm assuming with it in charge plugged in.if you have a spare charger or know some one who does.borrow it .try a different one.if that's it.get a replacement

Could be a problem with the battery. Does it boot up properly (whether plugged in or not)?
