My computer and my camera are having an sd card formatting duel?

My card (Kodak 2GB SD) is formatted for my camera. I can take pics and they are stored to the card. But when I stick the card into my computer, it says that the card is not formatted and must be formatted.

Then if I format the card with the computer, the camera asks to re-format it.

I use XP, and my Vista computer recognizes it and I can view the pics and vids and all.

Anyone have any advice?

Did your camera come with any software to load in?  That should help your computer recognize your camera, and in turn, your card formatted to your camera.  If that doesn't fix it, then I'm stumped.
