My computer contains both ethernet and wireless adapters .I cannot connect to the internet?

I select ethernet and they correct it, but the next time I try to go on the internet it happens again. How can I get the wireless off. We do not have wireless in my town. Please help.

There should be a button on your computer to enable/disable the wireless. If not, it can be done thru the control panel (network) settings.

Hi you are using windows ? If so try going to Control panel, Network connections and disabling your wireless adapter, you can always re-enable it. You can also uninstall the wireless device,but you would have to disconnect it to stop it reinstalling it self. I hope this helps as networks can be a problem if you always make changes.
