My computer crashed, how do i get external disc copied on to now blank hard disc??? copy has drivers etc.?

i have all files and drivers and codes copied on external storage, but i have no idea how to get all that stuff back on the now blank hard drive?? i have windows xp. i can open the storage and see everything, but how do i copy it all back on to the main computer????? Mr. Ignorant

  1. If your internal hard drive is really blank, then the external drive needs to contain an image copy of the hard drive, not just copies of your files. An image copy is an exact copy of everything from the hard drive including the operating system (in your case Windows XP). If this is just files and not an image copy, you need the restore cd or original XP cd (or dvd).


  2. if you have external harddisk then connect it with harddisk cable and make it secondary harddisk. then copy whatever u want.
