  1. Use search menu to check if your files and programs are available in different location.

Go to Start>search>for files and folders then type a filename in the text box.

If that does not work then your computer was infected by virus before you creating your files and installing programs, after clearing viruses your files and prgrms also cleared and there's no way to bring them back coz virus always pretends to be the system.

  2. u need to have s*x with it

  3. Sorry your computer crash. You going to have to take it for repair or either buy another.

  4. That was vague.  Need details.

Your best bet is to contact the administrator of your machine.  You say that this is a multi-user machine, so it could be that one of the other users (someone with write access to other user's directories) has set up a time-scheduled process to clear out the files of certain users.  I do not know what software might be used to do this, but I'm sure that, if it is installed, it would be your administrator who would have installed it.

EDIT: I thought that through for a moment, and it seems to me that if the administrator is a family member of yours, they would probably tell all of the users of the machine about such a policy...I guess you should ask the administrator anyway, but it may be a deeper issue than that.

  5. well go to your recycle bin and they should all be there and u might have to re program all of it

  6. 3 possiblities -

    1st - Virus.

    2nd - Human Factor

3rd - Try going to C:\Documents and Settings and select your User Name and select desktop. If have, you may have hidden you desktop items by mistake

To rectify - Right Click your Desktop any where > Arrange Icons By > Show Desktop Icon

  7. hi.. well your computer cannnot do or decide anything on its own. it needs human intervention. before you log off from your computer or shut down your computer, are you able to save your files? if your computer acquired a virus then that's a problem. There are computer viruses that delete files on computer. I think a technical support representative can help you out. Try to call one.
