My computer doesn't recognize my mp3 player!

so, i got this zen xfi and it's pretty cool. i installed creative centrale and the whole deal. but now when i try to transfer files from my computer to the mp3 player, i can't do that. the transfer button on the top isn't highlighted and it says no player connected. so, what should i do?

Sometimes devices need to be a in a USB mode. So, maybe search on the menu or something. It's also possible that some computers aren't updated enough.
