  1. I had the same problem. Microsoft told me to go to a previous restore point. Works fine now.

  2. Hi goto-start-control panel-add/remove programs-run down the list of programs installed see SP3 and remove it.

    hope this helps

  3. I have the same problem, and you can't just exit out of it.  That stupid thing makes my pc run slow every start-up now.

Let me know if u find out!

    ;)

  4. yu exit out of it

  5. I don't see why you would not want to download it. Windows Service Pack 3 is an update by microsoft to help fix a bug in one of their recent updates. Your better off installing it to prevent future problems with your computer. It may not also fix a bug but it could help prevent a bug from getting into your computer. If you still do not want to install it, then go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Disable/Uncheck Install Internet Updates.

  6. Just go to http://www.update.microsoft.com and chose express. When the option to download "Critial Update Service Pack 3", just check the little box at the bottom "Don't show this update again". It won't come up again.

Although, you have no reason not to update. All drivers and software work aswell with both SPs, and you do notice a small performance boost.

    Either way, hope this helps.
