Question:

My computer freezes everyday at 5PM what's wrong with it?

So to solve the problem i changed the system time once and it did helped but i dont want to look at the wrong time, i have an updated antivirus installed but it isn't detecting any kind of virus so what's the problem here? this is happening every day at the same time from last week!

  1. sounds like some program is kicking off at 5pm everyday.  Do you perhaps have your antivirus program scheduled to do a full system scan on your PC at 5pm everyday.  I woulnd't think it would "freeze' the pc up completely but I know on my pc a full system scan makes things run very, very slow due to the scan using up most of the CPU time.  

    you might try opening up your task manager at 4:59 and checking the Processes tab (sort it by CPU time so that you can see what processes are using the CPU the most).  Then watch it carefully when the time turns 5pm and see if something pops up and starts running that's maxing out your CPU time.
