My computer froze and I

Question

My computer froze and I had to shut down manually. Now I cannot get anything on it as I keep getting this recurring screen saying windows did not start successfully and gives me the option of starting in normal or safe mode or last known good configuration and when I try any of these the same screen appears - please help
