  1. Hey kimber. Try a ad ware program.....such as adaware....you can find it at www.lavasoft.com and if that doesnt help, you might want to restore your pc to an earlier date (restore it to a date when everything was fine). Hope that helps your problem.

  2. try these fixes

DEFRAGMENT THE HARD DRIVE TO BOOST PERFORMANCE:

start, (search box at bottom) type defrag, click on program and ask it to scan all drives to defragment

if the computer has never done ths before then files can become scattered across the hard drive causing slower performance as the hard drive works harder to search for the files needed

USE REGISTRY CLEANERS TO CLEAR OUT JUNK AND IMPROVE SYSTEM REPSONSIVENESS:

the registry is core files that are needed for windows and programs to work if this is full of un-needed or invalid files or fragmented itself then this will cause slower performance and also may cause system instability

use these programs that i use myself they are freeware (open source) software and really work to get rid of problems like you are experiencing

    go to http://www/freewarefiles.com

ccleaner, regscrubvistaxp, argente registry cleaner and glary utilities

install and run all of these and select and clear anything that is found this should improve performance after a shutdown and restart of the computer

tey winpatrol its a free program that monitors programs and if they are trying to start up or registering themselves to start up this can cause conflictions and slow performance

http://www.winpatrol.com/download.html install winpatrol and look at whatever it brings up if you are unsure click to cancel the action, any programs that are important for windows to work are ignoed automatically

Make sure AVG is upto date using the the update function and do a FULL scan of system not just automatic scan (move slider on scan to FULL not just automatic)

if you get stuck or these dont wor then email me
