I have checked with 2 different USB Cables. I have uploaded a new version of iTunes. I have restarted my computer twice. And it's still not detecting. The iPod seems to be working fine and iTunes is working fine too. What could be wrong? HELP..!!!!!!!

  1. What you need to do is to go to device manager.

Right click on your Ipod. It should have a yellow sign by it and click on unistall.

    Now unpug you Ipod.

    Then plug it back in.

It should automatically detect it and install it again.

To go to device manager you need to click start, right click on My Computer  (on the right) then click on manage.

When it comes up, on the left side click on device manager.

Now do what I told you above and you should be good to go.

  2. You need to let the new version of itunes download. It takes a while. Just click on the set up thing. The file hopefully you saved the file. So click on that on your desktop and leave it there. I've had this happen to me lots of times.
