My computer is playing up?

my computer is behaving kind of strangly at the moment and i dont know why.

i'm connected to wireless internet at home but for some reasons, when logged on, the internet cannot open certain web pages like facebook etc when it could easily before.

there are only two accounts on my computer- mine and 'guest' and the internet works fine on 'guest'.

i've done an upto date virus scan but it doesnt help.

also, when logging onto my main account, it sometimes only loads the wallpaper and nothing else (so no task bar etc)

i dont want to have to use my guest account for ever, so please can you give me some suggestions of what the problem might be?

Your profile is corrupt.

Log in as the administrator, create a new user profile for yourself copy your documents and favourites folder across and delete the old one.

Advice: If you are a kid then your Mother or Father may have blocked Facebook etc. as it is a bad website (In their eyes)!

I know how to change the parental settings but will not tell you. SORRY!

if your connecting through a wireless router, you should have a modem as well, restart both of them , turn them off BY THE PLUG SOCKET ON THE WALL for 30 secounds, then back on.
