My computer is running at 100% with nothing running on it - is this a virus or some sort of trojan horse?

If you have an antivirus installed, it may be running a scan. use a-squred HiJackFree to get a printable list of all running apps and their details, then post them here and I, or someone else, can continue to help.

its may not becasue of trojan. but you would probably many programs installed on you-r systems

ok go to task manager alt+ctrl+delete then process right click them and click end process tree on all of them then restart your computer
