My computer is running sluggish.?

Some websites not responding causing computer to freeze.

Myspace.com always freezes my computer.Youtube is

touchy playing videos.Outlook express is slow to respond.

I talked to my provider Insight communications,I have road runner and they say my connection is good.I have deleted

temp files,defragment, checked for errors,disk clean up

and nothing works. Tech support said maybeI need to have

Wnidows XP re-installed,will this cause me to lose

data?

Also in windows update there is a upgrade to Windows XP service pak 3,is that advisable?

Use Spybot or get Malaware for FREE. You have too many cookies and get either of these to delete the, That should solve your problems.

If you do re-install Windows, you will not lose any data as long as you are installing fromthe windows directory and not at startup. This way, it will ask you if it is ok to overwrite the existing directory, Answer YES. Once it is finished, you will still have all your date  and if you have any viruses or trojans, the new installation kills them automatically.
