My computer keeps going real slow from popup programs thatinstalled themselves how do i find and delete these?

well about 3 months ago my computer started going really slow from programs that installed themselves on my computer, those annoying ones that say warning your computer is infected, click here to buy this and that. I downloaded AdAware 2008, and AVG anti virus, and they deleted like 8 viruses that the computer had but those programs keep popping up. How do i find and delete that stuff?

get a pop blocker or set your browser to block pop ups

Popups and adware are different from viruses, so many anti-virus programs won't remove them. Ad-aware should have helped a bit, and Spybot Search & Destroy is good, too- search for it on download.com.

Yeah, rogue programs that keep bugging you about detected infections (but require you to buy their program to clean anything) are a pain...

It is obvious,  your pc infected spyware.

The first to check, which process is full using your cpu?

Maybe your pc  infected spyware and it full uses your cpu.

You can search which process full use you cpu, and end the process.

Under steps:

1. right click on the TaskBar.

2. click the Task Manager.

3. click the processes tab.

4. double click the CPU.

5. find if the "System Idle Process" is max.

6. if not right click and click end process.

if you cannot end this process. Perhaps your pc infected spyware/adware.
