  1. more information pls?..?

  2. BSOD is an OS error you can either stop the rebooting and look up the code or put your windows disk in an try the repair utility if that doesn't work you will probably need to do a clean install

  3. Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This  problem can be solved by uninstalling new software, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . From http://fixit.in/bluescreenofdeath.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info

  4. could be any piece of hardware, try seeing the code it shows you when it blue screens, 0x000006B ex.

Take a look at your motherboard and see if any of the capacitors are buldged or have corrosion on them. If they do then your mobo is shot.

If not, then try running a memtest86.

Try taking your video card out and replacing it with another one or running off the regular video.  Multiple things could be wrong with it.

  5. There could be many reason why it does what it does.  You may have a system failure and that is why it keep rebooting.  You can stop that by going to My Computer Properties>Advance>Startup and Recovery>in the system failure area uncheck automatically reboot.  I hope this help.

  6. Maybe its a virus, check with Spybot, but remeber to update it first, using updates according to your region.

  7. I am going to say more likely some driver is corrupt or else you have some bad RAM.  Not sure from a basic description such as this though.  If its software then you may be able to resolved by hitting f8 on the startup screen, select safe mode, when in safe mode run a system restore (if you have XP or later).  If you restore to before there was a bad driver then you should be ok if its a driver.

  8. Hiya,

Before you start reading this, DON'T WORRY, a blue screen of death isnt the end of the world! We can resolve it!

There are many reasons why this could have occured:

Try the following to resolve the issue:

    1) Disconnect any NEW hardware you connected to your pc!

    2) Disconnect the power from the pc, hold the power button for 30 seconds to commence a power drain, and then reconnect the power.

If this doesn't sort out the problem, there is only one thing to do.

    1) Perform a System recovery by using your recovery CD'S

however, this will cause a loss of ALL YOUR DATA, so if you have important documents, you should go to a PC Specialist such as PC World.

If you are a technet person, then you should enter the error code onto google, and see if you find a way to resolve the problem. If you really advanced, take out the hard drive, and try it in another pc if that helps.

Is it the motherboard? Likely answer to be NO, but it could be your operating system software, or the motherboard bios software.

If you have recently opened your pc's case (i.e to install more RAM, new hard drive...) it could be that you short circuited it. But other than that, the answer is no!

  9. When you get the blue screen its usually because of a recent change you made to your computer. Although generally hardware, it can also be a software problem. Chances are it isn't the motherboard, but every blue screen has a code on it. If you enter the 16 digit hexadecimal code into windows help and support on some systems it will tell you the cause of the problem and the solution. You can also try entering it into an internet browser. I forgot what the codes generally start with, but it should be 16 digits if I remember correctly. Since its hexadecimal it contains numbers 1-9 and letters A-F so just try to take that information down when givin a chance and from there you should be able to figure out the exact issue. But if you know that you recently installed a memory module, or new video card, it is more then likely a recent change.

  10. the exact message would be helpful

  11. The problem could be due to many things. The least I ask of you is to full in the extra details. That space was provided for a reason.

Anyways. You can try to get the latest drivers for all of your hardware.

There's not much I can tell you. Saying you have a blue screen and your computer keeps restarting can mean a lot.
