Go to google and type in AVG, It's really good, Once you get it scanyour whole computewr which may take up to 1 hour.

you need an xp install or restore disk. if you bought your computer from a company then it probably shipped with a restore disk. use that for a fresh install. avg and avast! are good antivirus. spybot search&destroy is good anti-spyware and ad-aware is good anti-adware. all free. cookies can be deleted using either windows file cleanup and there is an option in Internet Explorer and Firefox to delete cookies.Cookies arent inherently bad and dont do anything to your system all they do is store data.
