Question:

My computer saying i need adobe Flash play but for some odd reason it's not down loading?

  1. Usually in Windows Childhood, the download process would take some time to download it depending on the speed of the Computer, but if its not download for some reason, could be some form of virus, but nothing heavy, something minor, if you download anything with a .exe file or any other format, you should right click the infected file, and scan it with whatever Virus Checker you are using on your Old Computer, beforehand, always install a virus program no matter how old the PC is.

    then try to download adobe flash player..if it works, your in luck.

  3. Do you get any errors? Which OS are you using?

    For Ubuntu Linux, try this in terminal:

    apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

    (or select it in Synaptic).
