My computer says MSGINA.DLL could not be found

Question

please contact your system admininstrator to restore the original dll?I cant seem to boot up windows in any safe modes etc. Is there any way of booting up so I can sort out the .dll problem?

What it basically says is that the error normally comes while installing Service packs & hence it is a MS Issue. & they have to offer your phone support. It does take some time to fix, so be patient.

If I were you & I had data that I did not want to loose, I'd take the HDD out, get a backup of the data, either y slaving the disc or Booting with a Live CD (ubuntu wud do).& copying the data out to a DVD/External USB Drive.

you have to use your windows disk in recovery/repair mode

this will repair the windows installation and replace missing files. you have to boot to the windows disk then hit "R" to enter repair mode, then just follow the written steps.

1)  But first try this press continuous F8  when ur windows boot up...it will show safe mode menu select the Last known good configuration....if this works then well and good....then its done... then dont follow the second steps....

2) Repair ur windows.... boot from xp cd... let the files load.... Press enter ur os will detect and then press R to repair.... this will take time it will repair ur windows .... this will not delete any ur files it will only delete and reinstall the system files...ok
